Registered Massage Therapist Needed in Busy Timberlea location - Assuming busy caseload of therapist leaving the province!!

Established in 2004, Nova Physiotherapy has been dedicated to providing exceptional care to our clients. Providing Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, and Chiropractic, we prioritize client-focused treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes. With 23 years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we strive to help our clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Our Timberlea location currently has 5 RMTs, 2 Chiropractors, and 5 Physiotherapists to work with.  

Job Description:

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients based on their individual needs and preferences
• Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality, muscle strength, and range of motion to tailor massage treatments accordingly
• Provide recommendations for at-home care and exercises to help clients maintain and improve their well-being
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as a Registered Massage Therapist in NS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - great opportunities for new graduates
